About the conference

AXA Investment Managers is a proud sponsoring partner for the 15th edition of the Pensions & Investments World Pension Summit, taking place at the Louwman Museum in The Hague from 5th November to 7th November.

The summit brings together global leaders, experts, and stakeholders in the industry. AXA IM will be participating in a panel discussion titled ‘Biodiversity Matters – The Investment Challenge’. Jeroen Bos, Global Head of Equitywill be discussing biodiversity as an investment opportunity and what is still needed from regulators and the wider investment community to successfully integrate the theme into your portfolio. Our speaker

Jeroen Bos

Jeroen Bos, Global Head of AXA IM Equity, joined from Credit Suisse Asset Management, where he was Global Head of Sustainable Investing, leading its Sustainability efforts across the firm.  

Previously, Jeroen was Head of Equities & Responsible Investing from NN Investment Partners until December 2021. Prior roles at NN Investment Partners included Head of Global Equity Research as well as Portfolio Manager at several Global Equity funds. Prior to that, he worked as a sell-side Equity Analyst at UBS in New York, at JPMorgan in London, and at MeesPierson in Amsterdam. 

In addition, Jeroen sits on the Investment Committee of the Rail & Public Transport Pension fund in the Netherlands, is a board Member of the Work with Nature Foundation, sits on the Advisory Board of SPO Pension Education and is a member of CFA Institute’s Global ESG Working Group. 

Jeroen holds a degree in Economics from the Free University of Amsterdam (VU). In addition, Jeroen is a CFA Charterholder and holds the CAIA, CMA, CFA ESG, CFA Climate in Investing and Certified Pension Executive (CPE) certifications. Finally, Jeroen completed INSEAD’s International’s Directors Program and Harvard’s Investment Management Program.

In line with our Empowering Sustainable Futures program, AXA IM is committed to supporting the protection and conservation of wild birds and their habitats, and we are proud to announce our donation to Vogelbescherming Nederland, the Dutch Partner of BirdLifeInternational, on behalf of our delegates at the World Pension Summit.

BirdLife Netherlands works to safeguard wild birds and their habitats in order to help preserve biodiversity and ensure the quality of our living environment. The organisation engages in targeted conservation programs, advocacy, and awareness-raising activities in the Netherlands and worldwide.

Vogelbescherming’s work includes advocating for the conservation of Important Bird Areas such as the Waddensea, IJsselmeer, and the southwestern Delta, developing restoration projects, and collaborating with reserve managers and volunteers. Moreover, Vogelbescherming is actively involved in advocating for nature-inclusive agriculture and promoting bird-friendly neighbourhoods and towns.
