AXA IM appoints Marion Le Morhedec as Global Head of Fixed Income

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) announces the appointment of Marion Le Morhedec as Global Head of Fixed Income, effective immediately. Based in Paris, she leads AXA IM’s global Fixed Income business and reports to Hans Stoter, Global Head of AXA IM Core.
Christophe Herpet is appointed Deputy Head of Fixed Income and Global Head of Fixed Income for AXA, effective immediately. Based in Paris, he reports to Marion Le Morhedec.
They will both retain their current portfolio management responsibilities.

AXA IM’s fixed income teams offer a comprehensive range of strategies spanning the whole spectrum of this asset class’ universe including money market, sovereign and inflation, emerging markets, investment grade credit, buy and maintain and high yield.

Biographies
Marion Le Morhedec
Marion Le Morhedec was previously Head of Active Fixed Income for Europe and Asia since 2019.
Before this role, between 2016 and 2019, Marion headed the Product Specialists and Solutions team first for the Fixed Income platform then for the Core Investments Business Unit, overseeing the business development plans, as well as the platform’s innovation efforts on solutions and product offering. Before that and during 10 years, she was a Senior Portfolio Manager within the Fixed Income team, where she was responsible for managing inflation portfolios. Marion initially joined AXA IM in 2003 as Product Manager.
Prior to joining AXA IM, Marion worked for BNP Paribas in London and Madrid as derivatives structurer for fixed income and equity market products.
Marion holds Bachelor’s degree from ESSEC Business School.
Christophe Herpet
Christophe Herpet was previously Global Head of AXA Fixed Income and Buy & Maintain since 2019.
He had joined the Fixed income teams in 2010 and was responsible for managing FI mandates and mutual funds, sharing market ideas, and investment strategies with AXA Group.
Christophe Herpet joined AXA IM in 2004 as Senior Portfolio Manager in the Hedge Fund and Structured Finance team and was responsible for the credit and equity arbitrage strategies as well as credit correlation trading.
Prior to joining AXA IM, Christophe started his career in 1994 at BNP, he then joined Bayerische Landesbank working in the interest rate and credit trading team. He then moved to Credit Agricole Indosuez in 2000, where he served as Head of Credit Proprietary Trading.
Christophe holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Reims University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Paris School of Management.
